THE DEBT

I watched a great movie on direct.tv the other day. My mother and father in law suggested that we watch it if it came on. It was called, “the Debt”. It had Helen Mirren as a main actress. It was one of those spy movies, one of my favorite genres. The movie was based on a plot by Israeli spies after WWII to catch a German doctor who was running experiments for the Nazis. The film told a great story and flashed back between the past and the present. It turns out the Nazi doctor escaped from the spies, and they claimed that he had been killed. Later, the aging spies were told that the doctor was found in an asylum in Eastern Europe. One of the aging spies, played by Helen Mirren, goes to find the doctor to actually kill him. She ends up finding him and killing him, but he also injures her. She decides to tell the truth about what actually happened many years ago. I hope that I don’t ruin the movie for you, but if you get a chance it is definitely worth seeing!
