Salty's on Alki

Can I get any luckier? Two weeks after dining at Anthony's (read my experience here), we went to Salty's (on Alki) last night. Tasty seafood just keeps on coming.

Salty's Seattle

About Salty's Seafood Grill

As "Seattle and Portland's Best Waterfront Seafood Restaurants," Salty's prides itself by providing world-class seafood, steak and service. Also, every Salty's location has panoramic waterfront views of breathtaking beauty. The restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience.

Besides Alki Beach in West Seattle, other Salty's locations include Redondo Beach in South Seattle and Columbia River in Portland.

Salty's Seafood

Seafood in the Pacific Northwest is already fresh and delicious. Seafood at Salty's is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. Each dish contains buttery, savory flavor infused with Asian flair. And the seafood's freshness makes every bite tender and scrumptious.

Salty's View

Gorgeous! At least for Salty's on Alki.

The restaurant sits right on Alki Beach, a long stretch of natural sand on the edge of West Seattle Peninsula, across from Seattle's skyline. Looking through the restaurant's floor-to-ceiling glass windows, you see beautiful city lights floating above the Sound's calm waters. The view is absolutely stunning.

Dressing for Salty's

Although there is no strict dress code for dining at Salty's, it is considered a "special occasions" restaurant. Therefore, you want to dress more formally than usual.

If your guy is anything like my dad, who has trouble finding the right attire for occasions, you can visit style websites like style pilot. It is an innovative online style tool that recommends customized mens fashion per each visitor's personality. It also offers clothing discounts from well known stores.

Our Dining Experience at Salty's

With a hefty price tag (seafood cost up to $50 - $60 a plate), we don't eat at Salty's unless there is a special occasion. Last night, family friends came in town to visit, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate with local seafood.

Our food was delicious -- plump Alaskan King crab with natural sea salt flavor, tender halibut swimming in tangy sauce, and supple crab cakes fried to golden perfection. Everyone enjoyed the feast.

We also had wonderful service. Even with a messy toddler at the table, we received five-star treatment.

If you ever visit Seattle, and want a Pacific Northwestern dining experience, try Salty's.

You won't regret it.
