GREEN SHADOW

This season I am seeing a lot of green on the eyes and am so happy about this eye shadow trend, because it's sultry, vibrant and fun.

Plus, I think it does a great job bringing out brown eyes.  Just look at the beautiful model, Chanel Iman, below:

Thanks to L'oreal's eye shadow in "Glistening Sea", here is my rendition of the green eye shadow:

It's a fun look for the sunny Spring.  You should definitely give it a try!

OLIVE OIL AS NATURAL MAKEUP REMOVER

Some stuff are so cool they can be used many different ways.  Olive Oil is definitely one of them.

I've been a long time fan of using olive oil in the kitchen, but a few years back, instead of investing in expensive makeup removers, I started using olive oil to remove my eye makeup.  The results were so good that I stuck with this natural and wallet-friendly habit ever since.

Here is what I normally start with, quite a bit of makeup on the eye:

Add a few drops of olive oil onto the napkin ....

And after a couple of swipes off of the eye .... Gone!!  Heavy makeup is off!!

Leaving my eye bare, fresh and clean

A great, natural and inexpensive way to take off makeup.

HOT MOMMIES

Isn't it funny how we pay more attention to people we identify with?  Almost a new mom, I am noticing a LOT more celeb moms these days.  They all have beautiful physique, great confidence, and thriving careers.  I am looking up to them as examples in both life and motherhood.

Here are a few of these women I just admire and adore:

 Cindy Crawford

I remember her in that 90's Pepsi commercial with her jaw-dropping figure.  Today, she's still got it.  With 2 kids and still a consistent amount of modeling contracts flowing her way, Cindy can't get any hotter.  And you know what?  Kudos to her for keeping that trademark mole.
            Then

  Now

Jessica Alba

Jessica put the "sin" in Sin City.  She was and still is one of the most beautiful starlets who ever set foot in Hollywood.  With a lovely little girl in tow now, Jessica is much more low key and much more beautiful as a mommy.

 Then

Now

Heidi Klum

A hit show, multiple clothing lines, and a beautiful family are just among many things Heidi Klum can be proud of.  And that fabulous body of hers?  Life isn't fair!

 Then

Now

Kourtney Kardashian

As the cute and petite older Kardashian sis, Kourtney welcomed a beautiful baby boy while surrounded by her family.  It was a lovely moment on Reality TV when Kourtney entered motherhood in complete happiness.

 Then

Now

Victoria Beckham

I used to dance to the Spice Girls all the time!  Posh was my favorite!  Now, she's a sexy mommy with the most fabulous closet.  Victoria is still spicy, just better.

Then

Now

Denise Richards

I don't care what anyone says, Denise Richards is still one of the most gorgeous women on earth.  She was beautiful back then, and she looks even better now as a mom of 2 little girls.

SIMPLE THINGS TO DO FOR GOOD SKIN

Sometimes radiant skin doesn't take expensive trips to the salon or exotic products from far away.  A few simple habits here and there in your daily life is all it takes.  Here are a few simple things I am personally fond of to achieve good skin:

Eat antioxidant-rich foods like fruits and veggies

Drink lots of water every day

Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes and skin from UV

Apply SPF-rich products

and

Treat yourself to an at home facial once in a while

See?  Easy, simple and good for the skin.  Do you have any to share?

FITNESS DURING PREGNANCY: TRICEP KICKBACK

Triceps are hard for girls to tone up.  Over time, they start to droop and dangle - not a very attractive look!  Even when I am not pregnant, I give my triceps a lot of attention.  Now, I work them even harder.

The tricep kickback is a great easy-to-do, at home exercise to strengthen and tone your arms' back muscles.  Here's how:

Step 1: Choose a desirable weight

Since the triceps are not very strong, you don't need to go heavy.
I just doubled a couple of 2 pound dumb bells

Step 2: Start by slightly bending your body forward, keep the back straight.
Lift your elbow, ensure that your upper arm is parallel to the floor.
Let your dumb bell hanging on the side.

Step 3: Slowly extend your arm up

Step 4: Stop extending until your arm is straight.  At this position, pause for a couple of seconds.

Step 5: Lower your arm back to starting position.

** NOTE: your upper arm and elbow should not move at all during the routine.

For best results, do 4 sets of 12 - 16 reps

Have fun with this one!!
