Makeup Recommendation - Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio (Beauty Blog Post)

What's special about Shimmer Strips?

Shimmer Strips, by Physicians Formula, is a new line of eye makeup that contains eye-enhancing shimmering agents.

Everyone has light in their eyes, but sometimes, and especially when you're tired, that light doesn't shine through. Using shimmer-induced eye makeup enhances your eyes' natural luminosity, resulting in a bright-eyed appeal.

Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Makeup offers so many products to choose from, but eventually I purchased the Eye Enhancing Eyeliner Trio in "warm nudes."

As an older beauty blogger, my skin doesn't look good in shimmery shadows anymore, but liners are fine, because they cover less area.

Why do I recommend the Eye Enhancing Trio Eyeliners in Warm Nudes?

First of all, it's a 3-for-1 deal. You get three eyeliners in one box, and for one price. Can't beat that.

Liners cost about $12, depending on where you buy them. Colors are light brown, dark brown and black.

Then, there's quality -- and Physicians Formula doesn't disappoint. All three eye liners glided on smoothly, never smudged, and stayed put for hours.

I also liked their versatility. They match just about any eye color, and can be used day and night.

Lastly, they DO enhance your eyes. All three colors looked naturally beautiful, and intensified without looking overly dramatic.

My favorite one?

Of the three shades, I liked the dark brown (middle one) the best. The color matched my eyes almost flawlessly, and is great to wear during the day.

Thanks for reading.

I hope you enjoyed the mini review, and take my recommendation into consideration.

Do you have an eyeliner to recommend?

  5. Love that you talk about how everyone has light in their eyes because you're so right about makeup with shimmer bringing it out. I use a Mac shimmer pigment in the corner of my eyes and I need to give this new product a shot because I used to wear the Physcians Formula bronzer all the time, but I hadn't heard of this yet.

  6. Both the browns look so lovely! And they all suit you so well, I personally loved the first on on you, it looks subtle but adds so much dimension! I would try it on the inner corners too. :D
