What I'm Loving Right Now (Beauty Blog Post. Mostly.)

It feels good to find things you love, and even better when you are able to share.

Here are what this girlie is loving right now:

ELF Foundation Brush

Ergonomically designed and soft to touch, this foundation brush leaves your face in flawless condition.

Maybelline Mega Plush Volum' Express Mascara

With the fattest brush, Maybelline Mega Plush gives lashes endless length and heavenly fullness.

Reviva Makeup Primer

Very blessed Reviva Labs sent me this primer for review. I use it everyday now. It makes my skin soft and smooth.

Rose Gold Eye Shadow and Cat Eye Liner

Last year's gold eye shadow got a little pinker and prettier. Paired with sexy cat eye, this is certainly a trend to follow.

Standing up for Yourself

There are times you let things go. Then there are times you stand up for yourself. Don't treat others badly, but also don't let others take advantage or walk all over you.

Seattle is known for its annoying habit of being passive aggressive. For the "smartest city," this is a stupid thing to do. Because if you don't tell people what's wrong, they will never know what to fix.

For two years, our neighbor across the street, a woman of menopausal age, has been glaring at us (you know, squinting her eyes and all) every time we walk by. Yesterday, I HAD IT. (Even if your aggression is passive, it's still an offensive attack -- and a cowardly one too.)

So, I asked her, "Why are you glaring at us?"

Turns out, it was because my toddler was being loud.

Okay. Sorry about that. There is not much we can do, but we will try to be quiet next time.

See? All she had to do was tell me what's wrong. She could have solved the problem TWO YEARS AGO :O)

You are strong. Don't be afraid to take a stand for yourself.

That's all girlies.

Hope you are enjoying what's left of the summer.

What are you loving right now?
