USPS Launching New Clothes Line - Rain Heat & Snow - Fashion Blog Post

USPS to launch its own clothing line? I don't know what to say.

For readers outside of the U.S, USPS stands for United States Postal Service. The agency is going bankrupt. Hence, a "creative" endeavor to boost revenue.

As much as I love our mail man's handsome uniform (no, not really, not even its sexy mid-length shorts), I JUST DON'T KNOW if I'd wear it as fashion.

The agency's apparel and accessories line, Rain Heat & Snow, models after its motto, "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stay these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

Rain Heat & Snow is produced by Wahcohah Group, Inc, and will carry mostly smart apparel (clothes with electronics). The company hopes to sell the line at specialty stores.

I am excited!

(No, not really.)

  2. So random! I didn't know they were going bankrupt! I've had great experiences with them. I hate FedEx (sidenote)

  3. haha...who is their creative person?! who do they think this will appeal to? they should do a line of messenger bags, or cute denim jackets with patches. (USPS, are you listening? lol)

  5. I can't do anything but laugh. They're restructuring. They'll only deliver mail Monday through Friday. They will stop delivering on Saturdays (except for packages)late summer. Their mail consists more of packages now then letters. So they are focusing on that.

  6. Oh geez....it's like they need to concentrate on their slow service and figure out how to speed it up instead focusing on trying to launch a clothing line. #smh. And I agree with Oomph...they would be smarter to launch messenger bags and jackets with patches...it would be a lot more appealing!

  7. I give them points for creativity but this sounds like it will be a flop!
