Formal Dresses for Juniors at MissesDressy.com (Fashion Blog Post)

Choosing formal dresses for juniors is tricky: you can't go too sexy or too mature, but you don't want to doll them up like little girls either.

With prom arriving soon, formal dresses for juniors are filling up store racks in an assortment of colors, lengths and style.

How do you pick the right one?

Formal Dresses for Juniors at MissesDressy

MissesDressy, a specialty dress store that focuses on occasion dresses, offers the latest trends, as well as designer brands.

There are many choices to choose from, and everything is completely affordable. (I've seen prom dresses for under $200.)

Also, MissesDressy offers fast shipping. You can order online, and they ship the dress on the same day.

My top picks from MissesDressy

I'm certain you can make up your own mind. But just in case, here are my favorites from MissesDressy:

1. Pretty in Pastel

Pastels are normally "in" in Spring. And this Spring, pastels just happen to be the "it" color too.

I like the dress below because it's soft, pretty and pastel.

Also, the dress's asymmetrical design adds uniqueness, while its beaded midsection provides a slimming effect.

2. Bright and Bold

One of the hottest color trends now is neon.

I like neon too. There's something beautiful about looking bold.

I was immediately drawn to the dress below because of its neon yellow. Who knew that such a color can be elegant enough for prom?

3. All-over Prints

Just because it's prom doesn't mean you have to stick to solid colors.

For the past few seasons, prints have dominated runways and real ways. Perhaps they will dominate dance floors too?

The dress below is by Jovani. I cannot deny the fact that its beautiful, intricate prints make me weak in the knee.

4. Emerald and Empire

An emerging color this season is emerald, and it's lovely.

This dress combines emerald with a classic empire waist, adding new take on old school style.

5. Short and Sweet

Lastly -- and this is perhaps my favorite -- is the sexy, little number below.

It's simple, but hugs the body in all the right places.

To dress it up, I'd wear a pair of black, satin heels. But to make it fun and fresh, go for nude pumps.
