Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow Review (Beauty Blog Post)

This review is the last of a series of Burberry makeup reviews, but it's certainly not the least. These Burberry eye shadows came in "almond" and "midnight brown." Both are muted browns; both flatter any skin tone. I really like their earthy colors, as well as the shadows themselves.

Here are my thoughts on Burberry Sheer Eyeshadow:

Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow (Eye Enhancer) Review

(Colors in "almond" and "midnight brown")

Price: $57.99 (Amazon.com)

Quality and Performance

  • Excellent formula! It's soft and consistent.
  • Did not flake or fall apart.
  • Smooth and velvety touch.
  • Extremely easy to manage. Shadow glided on with ease.
  • Great experience with application.

Pigmentation

  • Rich color.
  • Highly pigmented.
  • Looks great for everyday wear.

Almond is a lovely subtle color.

Midnight brown is a dark, sultry color, with tamed shimmer.

The two looked lovely together.

A very simple application of almond and midnight black.

Lasting Power

  • Shadow lasted a few hours.
  • Very impressive.

Packaging

  • Because I received a sample, I do not have first hand experience with packaging. But from pictures on the web, shadow came in a luxurious flip top box, and contains a sponge applicator.
  • It also has the signature Burberry print carved into each palette.
  • Very classy and beautiful packaging.

Overall Likes

  • Excellent quality.
  • Did not fall, flake or break.
  • Smooth and controlled application.
  • Highly pigmented.
  • Gorgeous brown colors.
  • Great for day.
  • Beautiful, classy packaging.

Overall Dislikes

  • None.

Overall Rating

10/10

I absolutely loved the Burberry eye shadows. They are on the expensive side, but are worth the price. And if you get a color like "almond," which you can wear all the time, you are getting your money's worth.

Again, thank you Miss. H.S. from Nordstrom for contacting me for the reviews.

Have you tried Burberry Sheer Eye Shadow yet?

It's a dream!
