Quick Meal Idea - The Lazy Girl's Turkey Melt

I'm all for cooking big meals, but cannot spare the time right now. Meals have been quick and simple. I named this sandwich "the Lazy Girl's Turkey Melt," because it takes less than 10 minutes to cook, but still tastes hearty and delicious. It's a good recipe, even if you are not a lazy girl.

What you need:

  • Turkey slices (amount at your discretion)
  • Swiss cheese (1 slice)
  • Whole wheat bread (2 slices)
  • Onion (1/4 whole onion)

What you do:

Step 1

Slice onion.

Step 2

Grill (or caramelize) onion slices on a skillet.
Leave on skillet.
Set aside.

Step 3

Grill turkey meat on skillet. Cut into smaller pieces with a spacula.
Mix and stir with onion.

Step 4

Top meat and onion slices with cheese.
Wait for cheese to melt.

Step 5

Toast bread.

Step 6

Stack all the yumminess together.

Hope you liked the lazy girl's turkey melt.

Enjoy!
